Position Title: Warehouse Specialists (HAZMAT & Non-HAZMAT)

Location: Fort Liberty NC

Position Availability: Contingent upon award.


Use the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) to account for all receipts, issues and turn-ins except, Organization Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) generated at the COW. Use the Installation Support Module (ISM) to process all OCIE receipts, issues and turn-ins generated at the COW. Responsible for the operation, maintenance and security of GCSS Army, ISM or designated system used in support of contingency operations. Utilize COW assigned DODAAC’s to process all request and turn in documents

generated to support COW Missions. Utilize customer provided DODAAC’s to process all request and turn in documents generated supporting customer excess turn-ins. Review and verify quantities received and corresponding shipping documents in accordance with AR 710-2. Unload, unpack, visually inspect, count, segregate, palletize, and store incoming supplies Performs other duties as required. Extensive interaction with the customer is required.


Work requires long strenuous hours, and being able to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends and holidays. Work requires standing, walking, lifting and carrying of papers and other materials. Must be able to work under pressure. Must comply with published Company work rules. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations, and Company Rules.


A basic knowledge of transportation functions, programs, regulations and guides based on training and experience in order to perform the cargo weighing/inspection duties. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, methods and procedures in order to maintain and comply with standards and levels of safety and security which can affects the loading of personnel and equipment. Skill in written and oral communication in order to compose and/or present information in required format. Ability to operate a motor vehicle in order to report to designated aircraft operations areas from administrative office work-site. Complete all other duties as assigned by section Leaders and Management.
