Job Title: Supply Tech - Lead

Location: Fort Liberty NC

Type position: Full Time/ 40 hours a week.

Pay Type: Hourly

Position Availability: Contingent upon award.


Position Summary:

  • Assists Maintenance Supervisor and/or leads reconciling activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.

  • Performing limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, repair parts requisitioning and etc.) utilizing the Global Combat support System-Army (GCSS-A).

  • Establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, materiel control, accounting, and supply reports to include shop stock, bench stock, demand analysis, orals, turn-in.

  • Establish and maintain automated and manual accounting records, posts receipts and turn-ins, and perform dues-ins and dues-outs accounting.

  • Correct error and exception documents processing inventories, and warehousing documents, and maintaining stock locator system and document control procedures.

  • Review and verify quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents.

  • Prepares production report based on Data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats and governing rules, regulations, and policies.

  • Processes requests and turn-in documents at Sustainment level through warehousing section.

  • Processes inventories, and warehousing documents.

  • Performs inventories and location surveys IAW established procedures.

  • Retrieves and analyzes historical and activity files pertinent to system rejected documents.

  • Assists Maintenance Supervisor and/or leads reconciling activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.

  • Processes Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs), Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs) and track such materials until resolved.

  • Operates materiel handling equipment (MHE) as required.

  • Complies individual reports of current and projected work order status.

  • Monitors each maintenance work order for prompt status changes. Informs Maintenace Supervisor of any delays or unusual circumstances of work order requests.

  • Schedules work based on established guidelines and priorities in accordance with governing rules, regulations, and policies.

  • Calculate such factors as type and quantities of such items repaired, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and work order and or department production rates, using GCSS-Army computers.

  • Assist within the department as directed by the Maintenace Supervisor.

  • Maintain workstation and department area in a highly professional manner and appearance.

  • Issue parts over to maintenance personnel as required for equipment workorders.

  • Receiving parts, turning in parts and other interactions with the local SSA.

  • Performs other duties assigned.


Qualifications

  • Preferred 3 years prior experience working as a 92A or equivalent, in a Motor pool or SSA.

  • Experience with Logistics Information Systems (LIS) such as Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A).

  • Must have a good working knowledge of the governing maintenance supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment including working in Motor Pool/ Maintenace environment, in hot, dusty, windy areas for prolong time periods.

  • An associate or higher degree in business, management, logistics or the equivalent military service school’s graduations to verify the abilities and competence required to perform in a wide scope of supply related tasks.

  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

  • Must be computer literate.

  • Be able to pick up and move items up to 50 lbs.

  • Be capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 18 years of age

  • Must pass criminal background check.

  • Valid state driver's license

  • Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.
